Specifically milled for pet birds, the calcium-rich supplement ensures normal development and can help maintain bones, the nervous system, muscle function, blood clotting and cardiac function. Because seed diets are low in calcium, it is advisable to complement your pet bird’s diet with a calcium supplement. Living World Clay-Cal also serves as a digestive aid by helping to neutralize the pH, assisting to bind toxins.

Dosage: As a daily supplement, mix or sprinkle 1 teaspoon of Living World Clay-Cal onto your pet Bird's favorite greens, vegetables or fruits. Moist food helps ensure the absorption of the clay, which increases the likelihood that the supplement is consumed. Alternatively, you can sprinkle or mix up to 2 teaspoons with extruded pellets or seeds. You can also sprinkle a small quantity on the bottom of the cage. Replenish the supplement at least 3 times/week. Replace when soiled.
