The Exo Terra's Full Moon was created to simulate natural moonlight in your terrarium. The Full Moon mimics a moonlight shimmer that enables you to observe your animals at night without disturbing their natural behavior.

It provides crepuscular and nocturnal animals with a dim moonlight which allows them to navigate in their territory in search of insects, mating-partners, etc... In total darkness these animals would be completely disoriented. Equipped with a light-sensor, the Full Moon automatically lights up after the terrarium lights are switched off.

The Full Moon's surface is littered with craters in order to give it a realistic moon-like appearance. The low heat emission of the Full Moon allows a natural night-time temperature drop inside the terrarium. The Full Moon is easy to install, on the inside of the terrarium's screen cover, and held in place by a strong magnet.

The Exo Terra Scorpion Light adds a whole new dimension to keeping invertebrates. The Scorpion Light provides a soft ultraviolet light, similar to the UV-rays reflected by the moon's surface. Ultraviolet light makes certain scorpions, spiders and insects glow in the dark, it will light up certain spider webs and instigate spider mating behavior. The UV-emitting Scorpion Light will show you a new hidden world, and will also enhance the UV-related behavior of your animals.

With an energy consumption of only 2W, the Scorpion Light consumes nearly 80% less energy than a conventional night light, and does not interfere with natural nighttime temperature drops.
